Political Insiders Report made calls to all of our contacts to get the financial fundraising numbers in the competitive Omaha Mayoral race, and we feel that we have compiled some good data. The Omaha World Herald will most likely have exact numbers in the morning edition paper. Political Insiders Report Editor in Chief, Chris Scott was asked today by the Mighty 1290 KOIL to share his findings. That interview can be heard by clicking here. Since that interview, there have been new developments. Our most up-to-date findings can be found below.

This is going to cost a lot for Reublicans to steal.
Where the heck did all of Suttle’s money go?
Looks like the Republicans got money donated from the 1%. At least Suttle works for his donations. A little here and a little there. These four candidates won’t come close in the general election. Many of the four have completely alienated the fire unions and police unions. Wake up morons Omaha isn’t a Republican stronghold.
GOP Spin, your comments make no sense. Are you suggesting the 1 percent are inhuman? Do you think the 1 percent only hang around with the 1 percent? Also, how would you know who is giving what? Is money really the game changer when Democrats exploit illegal immigrants to stuff envelopes?
GOP Spin-Don’t waste your breath. Drew’s ilk would be content with drinking the tears of the downtrodden from a gold goblet in an ivory tower. All the while telling the nation’s weakest that they have to tighten their belts and not expect as much from social security and medicaid.
Drew,
You can try and pull the wool over the readers eyes, but we all know how wrong you are. From trying to control women’s bodies to killing our natural resources with the Keystone Pipline. Republicans will be on the wrong side of history. There is a paradigm shift in this country. Get on board before you get run over.
As an independent outside of Omaha, although raised in Omaha, I wonder if those who vote for those who raise taxes, would still vote for that person if the taxes raised where just on those who voted for that person? For example, the smoker’s tax. Why wouldn’t they just tax the constituents in the districts whose council members voted for the tax? Since the politicians obviously represents those who elected them, shouldn’t they be they be ones to pay for that agenda? Isn’t it logical that they agree with that agenda since they elected them?
I do believe that if this type of taxation where instituted, that voting habits would change dramatically. However, wouldn’t it be easier to not tax and let each individual donate to the cause of their choice so that we don’t have the arguments over what to spend our taxes on. By the way, middle class conservative, faith based people give much more than the liberal middle class or elitists. Maybe that is why the liberals do not like such systems. They could not support their own agenda without confiscating another’s earnings.
